African American Forum is a State Farm Business Resource Group whose efforts are partly designed to foster positive experiences for our communities. Homelessness is a pervasive issue in the United States, disproportionately affecting the African American community due to historical and systemic inequities. Although African Americans make up about 13% of the U.S. population, they account for more than 40% of the homeless population, highlighting a significant racial disparity. We feel strongly about this cause to shine a spotlight on the hidden aspect of homelessness, and raise donations to better the lives impacted my homelessness in our community.

Last year, the proceeds from Night In A Car provided over 19,000 nights of shelter to 191 men, women, and children who had nowhere else to stay. You served 27,800 meals to our shelter residents and community members with the support from our local community.
